We work with the UK’s anti-doping body UKAD, to ensure everyone in Wales can compete cleanly. We collaborate on education programmes, and all our Institute staff take anti-doping training.

Welsh Institute of Performance Science
The Welsh Institute of Performance Science (WIPS) collaborates with academic and industry partners. Their research aligns with the 3 key themes of the Sport Wales Institute. Athlete health and wellbeing, athlete development and environments. WIPS aim to:
- better apply science to Welsh sports
- develop sport science in Wales and train future sport scientists
- increase collaboration between Welsh sport, academia and business

Welsh Institute of Physical Activity, Health and Sport
The Welsh Institute of Physical Activity, Health and Sport (WIPAHS) collaborates with academics, policy makers, the public and others. Researching national wellbeing and health. They aim to:
