Not-for-profit sports clubs and community groups can apply.

To apply, your project must:

  • be for a building you own or have at least 7 years remaining lease for
  • not have started yet

Projects and funding

We prioritise projects with the biggest impact. We fund projects for:

  • new windows and doors, reducing heating needs
  • more energy-efficient and eco-friendly heating systems
  • better insulation (not including structural work to roofs)
  • solar panels and storage batteries
  • LED lights and movement sensors
  • sustainable water harvesting systems

We fund grants up to £25,000. Your club must pay at least 20% of the total cost. This includes having an energy survey as part of your stage 2 application. If your application is unsuccessful, we will pay 50% of your energy survey cost.
