  4. Emergency Relief Fund - Clubs across Wales given support this week

Two hundred and seven clubs in Wales are being given £380,377 in funding, after five weeks of Emergency Relief Fund applications.

The latest batch of applications has seen financial support of £32,098 approved for 42 clubs. Six applications have as they await more information or confirmation of other Government funding.

Last week, Sport Wales confirmed the Emergency Relief Fund would be increased by £150,000, increasing the financial support available to £550,000.

It comes as the initial £400,000 for the Sport Wales Emergency Relief Fund is near to being allocated after just four weeks.

In this week’s batch of applications, 33 clubs across Wales have been approved £60,027, bringing the total amount of emergency funding up to £345,279.

Eleven applications have also been deferred as they await more information or confirmation of other Government funding.

More information on eligibility criteria, and a Q&A, can be found on the Sport Wales website here.
