It goes without saying that if you’re setting up a new club, it needs a name! Before deciding on a name, find out what other clubs in your area are called – you don’t want to confuse people! A club’s name should also refer to your location. A name can even help show what type of club you are - an informal, social club may use a name which includes some humour, whereas a more serious, competitive club would not. Once you have a club name, you can use this to open a bank account, make funding applications and start promoting yourself. Hooray!
