Strategic Planning (or long term planning) will help the club to work out which direction it wants to go and to make decisions on where to spend money. Remember to be realistic in your strategic planning – this is no time for a wish list that’s never going to happen.
Looking at your income and expenditure over a longer period of time – let’s say over the next three to five years - will help you plan for the future, particularly for any one off projects or large value capital purchases that you want to make, such as improving facilities or buying equipment.
Having a strategic plan in place will help you pull all of your club needs together in one place.
