  4. Wales Activity Tracker research - how do people feel about returning to sport?

Find out what the implications of our third wave of Welsh Activity Tracker research is on returning to sport post-lockdown

About this event

Tim Evans, one of Sport Wales' Senior Insight Leads, will present the findings of the latest ComRes research, building on what we have learnt in the previous two rounds, and delving into what people have said about returning to sport; how they feel about being active and what are they keen to get back to.

One key aspect of the insights gathered which is proving extremely timely, is understanding the confidence the public has in regards to the settings in which they are able to return to sport. Past studies undertaken by Sport Wales have shown that when restrictions were eased previously, those participants who had returned to indoor facilities broadly felt comfortable, and many have expressed interest in returning to their activity of choice. We will look into the effect of the vaccine programme, attitudes to volunteering in sport, the impact on routines and looking again at how children's activity has been affected.

This free session will help you to understand better the impact of relaxing of restrictions and help you to prepare for the months ahead.
