Apply to join the National Young Ambassador Steering Group and National Leadership Academy

 

Applications are now open to join the National Young Ambassador Steering Group and National Leadership Academy for 2016/17 in Wales.

This is your opportunity to play a part in shaping the Young Ambassador programme, and ensuring that young people are at the heart of all our decisions. The group meet up to four times a year for steering group meetings, and for a further 3 residential weekends as part of the National Leadership Academy.

All we ask is that you are a committed Young Ambassador, and that you are in full time education in either school or college.

If you are interested in joining please complete the attached application form, and return it to lauren.holloway@youthsporttrust.org or by post (address on the form) no later than Sunday 17th July.

Sky Sports Living for Sport

 

SSLFS

 

For over 10 years Welsh schools and teachers have been using the Sky Sports Living for Sport (SSLFS) programme and its FREE Athlete Mentor visits to add value to their work. 

Over 1,400 schools across the UK & Ireland are currently taking part in SSLFS this academic year and we don't want you to miss out on this fantastic free initiative and the opportunity to receive the following benefits:

  • Two FREE Athlete Mentor visits
  • SSLFS T-shirts for every student in the project group
  • SSLFS Wristbands / Resources & Certificates for every student in the project group

Millennium Volunteers

MVMillennium Volunteers (MV) is a way of recognising the volunteer hours you have done as a Young Ambassador. There are three certificates available for you to collect - 50, 100, 200 hour certificates.

There is also an MV50 Sport award which was launched to encourage the hundreds of young people volunteering in sport.
