Inclusion

PESS 4 Teachers"One in five children in England and Wales is now identified as having additional needs, and consequently teachers of PE are facing daily challenges to include these pupils"  (Vickerman 2007)

PESS  Inclusion has evolved to address these challenges and to enable teachers to deliver high quality inclusive Physical Education.

A 1 day teacher training course has been devised that offers both the theoretical background and practical ideas on inclusion within physical education.

Attendees of the course are provided with a course folder that includes a course handbook, supporting documents handbook, STEP key ring and case studies CD/DVDs (course details attached).

An additional 2 day course has been developed and is accredited as a Level 6 qualification. Interested delegates must have attended the 1 day workshop as a pre-requisite for the 2 day extension course (course details attached)
